Our mission is to reach out to the like-minded, those who are also looking for a wholesome, nutritious, organic food experience.We started this brand to be able to consume genuine, organic produce. The prevalence of malpractices in the field, like the use of synthetic chemicals & pesticides to increase the yield, or the sale of inorganic products disguised as organic to meet the growing demand for organic products, led us to look for alliances with people who shared our commitment to be genuine, authentic and honest.

At Our Organik Tree, we do not force produce out of Mother Earth using harsh growth promoters; rather, we replenish our stock based on Mother Earth’s clock, waiting the process out for fresh, nutritious produce.

What does Organic mean for ‘Our Organik Tree’?

We prepare our own VERMICOMPOST to naturally enrich our soils

Vermicompost is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertiliser and soil conditioner.It is rich in mineral components like potassium, Sulphur, Phosphorus.Improves the soil structure, porosity, and density, thus creating a better plant root environment.Improves water holding capacity, thus reducing water loss and leaching.Supplies a variety of macro and micronutrients.

We MANUALLY remove weeds from our farms instead of using weedicides

We DO NOT use weed killers & chemical weedicides to remove unwanted plants.Toxic weedicides like 2,4-D are widely used in agricultural to increase productivity.We remove weeds manually by uprooting or cutting them close to the ground from time to time.

We use COW DUNG manure liberally instead of applying synthetic chemicals & pesticides

Cow dung manure contains essential nutrients for healthy growth of our crop.We mix composted cow dung into the soil to improve the moisture holding capacity.Carbon dioxide released during decomposition acts as a CO2 fertiliser for our crop.No harmful chemicals.

We use NEEM OIL spray to control fungal diseases, insects & pest control

We DO NOT use toxic & synthetic pesticides at our farms.Pesticides toxicity is known to cause breathing problems, birth defects, brain disorders, skin diseases etc.Neem oil enhances the quality of our organic crop.It makes nutrients & micro nutrients available in our produce.

‘Our Organik Tree’ emphasises sustainable ways of living that respect the natural environment and processes around us.

We use leaves of trees like neem, castor, mango to make our own GREEN LEAF MANURE

Dashapatra manure is created by mixing leaves of 10 trees including custard apple, guava, apricot etc in cow dung, cow urine & green chillies to control pests & other crop harming creatures.It improves soil structure, increases water holding capacity and decreases soil loss by erosion.It increases the nitrogen content in the soil & also accumulates important nutrients within the soil.

We use methods like CROP ROTATION for disease control & pest management

It is a useful tool in preventing soil diseases, weed problem, insect pests & for building healthy soils.The practice of planting different types of crops sequentially on the same plot of land optimises nutrients in the soilIt also reduces the reliance on chemical fertilisers, pesticides & herbicides.

We make our own LIQUID FERTILISER – Jeevamrut / Panchagavya

We prepare a fermented mixture of cow dung, cow urine, jaggery pd, lentil powder & water to provide organic source of natural carbon, nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and lot of other micro nutrients required for our crops.This liquid fertiliser contains naturally occurring beneficial microorganisms & photosynthetic bacteria which liberates minerals as growth promoters & regulators.It maintains excellent soil health for the future crops to come.

We use dried OIL SEEDS cake as organic nitrogen fertiliser

After oil is extracted from oilseeds, we dry the remaining solid portion as cake & use it in our farm as manure.Neem, coconut, groundnut, sesame seeds cakes are dried, well powdered before using for even distribution & quicker decomposition.These oil cakes supply available nitrogen for a long period.It makes are crop wholesome & nutrient rich.

CERTIFIED ORGANIC; Our farmers practise ANCIENT NATURAL VEDIC STYLE of farming using vegetable compost neem cakes ; NO CHEMICALS PESTICIDES & PRESERVATIVES.
NUTRITION: Black-eyed peas also known as black-eyed beans are among the most nourishing in the legume family; Their 5 grams of protein represents 9 percent of the recommended daily intake for men and 11 percent for women.
HEALTH: High-fiber food black-eyed pea consumption can help prevent CONSTIPATION; Prevents ANEMIA lowers BP boosts skin & EYE health.
Use: They make a good addition to soups stews and salads and are also a healthy side dish; It can be boiled and then ground add onion green chilli green coriander form into tikki and shallow fry on tawa to enjoy a yummy healthy snack for children or adults
