Xiaomi Redmi Note3 versus LeEco (Letv) Le 1S

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and LeEco Le 1S are the two smart phones which have been released in the end of 2015. Both the smart phones are best according to the prices for which they are available but they differ in some specifications. That means some of the specifications make Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 worth while some other specifications make LeEco Le 1S important to buy.

Display and Design

Redmi Note 3 and Le 1S both the smart phones are having display screen size of 5.5 inches with the color IPS display screen type. They are having multi touch with resolution being 1080 x 1920 pixels and 401 PPI. Redmi Note 3 has 16 M colors in the display screen which is one of the best features of this smart phone. Le 1S is considered as excellent in terms of display screen, because it uses corning Gorilla Glass 3 in order to protect from scratches and damages. Le 1S weighs 169 grams with size being 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm, while Redmi Note 3 has weight of 164 grams with size of 150 x 76 x 8.69 mm. Hence in terms of design Redmi Note 3 is slimmest in comparison with Le 1S.

Technical Specifications

Both the smart phones will make use of Android Operating system with version being V5.1 of Lollipop. In terms of CPU, Le 1s has 22% faster processor in comparison with its competitor, which is 2.2 GHz Octa Core while that of Redmi Note 3 is 1.8 GHz Hexa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor. The chip used for Graphics will be varying that is PowerVR G6200 and Adreno 510 for Le 1S and Redmi Note 3 respectively. Le 1S gives better and faster experience due to its faster CPU as well as good multi tasking capacity when compared with Redmi Note 3 which is due to the usage of Octa Core processor. Both the smart phones have internal memory of 32 GB inbuilt and 3 GB of RAM. The positive point of Redmi Note 3 is that it is built with a card slot and will allow using expandable memory up to 128 GB, which is essential to store songs, photos and any other data. While Le 1S does not design with the slot for external memory.

Camera and Connectivity

Redmi Note 3 has a built-in rear camera of 16 MP with auto focus facility, while Le 1S has 13 MP along with auto focus option. Both the smart phones are having front camera with 5 MP. The flash that is present in Redmi Note 3 is Dual LED while Le 1S has LED flash with video recording facility along with resolution being 1080p at 30 fps and 2160p respectively. The camera features both these smart phones have are Face detection, Geo tagging, Touch to focus apart from these Panorama and Smile detection are the additional one in Redmi Note 3. These two smart phones are enabled with connectivity’s of GPRS, EDGE, 3G, 4G, WiFi hotspot, Bluetooth and USB of microUSB V2.0.

Battery Specifications

These two smart phones will be using non-removable batteries of Li-Po battery type and battery size being 3000mAH, 4050mAH in Le 1S, Redmi Note 3 respectively.

Other Specifications

Both the smart phones are having GPS with type being A-GPS support. Le 1S has Accelerometer and Compass sensors while Redmi Notes has Accelerometer, Compass and Gyroscope sensors. Both have head phone jack of 3.5mm only. These two smart phones support messaging types of MMS and SMS while Redmi Note 3 supports Email also apart from them. Le 1S does not support FM Radio while Redmi Note 3 supports. Both of them support MP3 and MP4.

 

In view of the above specifications, we can make our choice according to the price and according to the specifications we give important. For example if we prefer better battery then we can select Redmi Note 3 rather than Le 1s, but if we want faster performance then we can prefer Le 1s. Final choice will be depending on our priority of specifications.
