Doogee Mix, a brand new smartphone from Doogee mobile manufacturer, looks just similar to that of Mi Mix smartphone from Xiaomi. Though these two smartphones may look similar, but still there will be lot of differences between them. These differences may be either in the hardware or storage specifications or how they work. So lets compare Doogee Mix and Xiaomi Mi Mix in their working as well as specifications.

Design

Design is one of the most important aspect of any device, because appearance is the one which adds value and attracts every one towards it. Lets look the differences in the design part of both the smartphones.

Doogee Mix has been designed as a bezels less smartphone with its ear piece placed on the top side. This is a slim phone which allows to hold firmly. It comes in dimensions of 159.6 x 82.1 x 9.5 mm and weighs just 160 grams only. It comes in three stylish colours that are Jet Black, Light Blue and Turquoise.

Xiaomi Mi Mix has been designed in a classic way with its body in metallic finished. One of the major difference in the design is that ear piece has been replaced with cantilever piezoelectric ceramics acoustic technology. It comes in dimensions of 158.80 x 81.90 x 7.90mm with weight being 209 grams. This phone is available in two standard colours that is black and gold. More height gives the output of more weight.

Display

Display is another major feature of a smartphone, though most of the users may not consider it has an important aspect. But for any smartphone this is the most important thing.

Doogee Mix has got a display screen of 5.5 inches, which is smaller than Xiaomi Mi Mix with 6.4 inches. Both of them use display type of IPS capacitive touch screen. Resolution offered by both the phones are different. Doogee Mix has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels while Xiaomi Mi Mix has a resolution of 1080 x 2040 pixels. PPI of Xiaomi Mi Mix is 362 pixels and Doogee Mix has ppi of 401 pixels approximately.

Hardware

Hardware is the heart of a mobile phone or any other device. Accuracy and fastness of a smartphone depends on the architecture of hardware.

Doogee Mix smartphone has made use of MediaTek Helio X30 which is a deca core processor. While GPU used is Mali T880 MP2 for better graphics.

Xiaomi Mi Mix makes use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 which is a quad core processor. Hence Helio X30 chip performance is more faster than that of Snapdragon 821. Because former is a deca core while later is most common quad core processor.

Software

Doogee Mix uses latest operating system that is Android Nougat version 7.0. While Xiaomi Mi Mix uses older version of operating system that is Marshmallow 6.0.

Here in software aspect Doogee Mix is using advanced operating system and allows to use updated applications when compared with that of Xiaomi Mi Mix.

Storage

Doogee Mix has two variants of memory that is 4 Gb RAM with 64 Gb internal storage and 6 Gb RAM with 128 Gb internal storage. Xiaomi Mi Mix has got 4 Gb of RAM with 128 Gb of internal storage.

Both the smartphones have allocated same amount of memory for storing data in them.

Battery

Doogee Mix is having a battery with capacity of 4,050 milli amperes, while Xiaomi Mi Mix has a capacity of 4,400 milli amperes. Both of them vary with little difference and offer good life.

Opinion

In comparison of Doogee Mix and Xiaomi Mi Mix in some aspects one performs better than other and vice versa. When weight is consider Xiaomi Mi Mix is more bulky than Doogee Mix. Xiaomi mix as a larger display screen but low resolution. In terms of hardware and software, Doogee Mix ranks due to the usage of Decacore processor and updated version of software. While in storage and battery  specifications both are standing on the same line. Hence one can purchase as per their requirements.
