“The camera is unable to focus on object less than 10 cm from the lens.”
Thanks to the laws of physics, any object placed too close to the lens will be rendered out of focus. Because the lens of a phone camera is different than a macro lens on a professional camera, we suggest customers keep at least 10 cm distance between the phone and the object for optimum image and focus quality.
“Audio output through plugged-in headphones is low.”
Currently, our superphones are designed to support only US standard headphones, as are most smartphones on the market. Using China standard headphones may result in poor audio output.
“My screen is frozen. Help!”
Step 1: Hold the power button for 15 seconds, wait for the phone to turn back on
Step 2: If Step 1 does not work, charge the phone for about 15 minutes. If the charging animation shows on the display, hold the power button until the phone starts up.
Step 3: If after 15 minutes of charging the phone remains irresponsive, retry Step 1.
Step 4: If all of the above fail to restart the phone, contact customer support.
“The Le 1s is a bit thick."
LeEco believes in enhancing user experience, and that includes providing a device that is better and more comfortable to hold. The back cover is streamlined and designed to hold a 3,000 mAh battery, which increases the thickness of the device but ensures that users have a good sense of grip.
“The Le 1s is heavy!”
The heaviness of our superphones are mainly due to the 3,000 mAh battery. However, compared with other 5.5-inch mainstream phones available in the market, including all-metal and non-metallic phones, the Le 1s belong in the group of lighter products.
“My screen broke easily!”
Cracked displays are the bane of all large-screen phones. However, our SuperPhones come with a suspension design without borders. Out screens have withstood rigorous challenges, and passed the stringent drop and tumble tests.
Our screen durability is comparable with the best in the industry.
“My Power key and volume key have come loose.”
For better user experience, our superphones have been designed to leave a tiny gap between the keys and the body to avoid them getting stuck and becoming hard to press. But if you think the keys are looser than reasonable limits, we suggest you contact Customer Services.
“The power key and volume key are stuck in the pressed position.”
Each of our superphones passed rigorous tests before being released to the market. However, we concede there may be a fraction that could have minor defects. Please contact Customer Services to check and repair your device.
“There is a black border around the screen.”
It is normal for our devices to have a black border around the screen edges. This is by design and a result of our LCD panel technology. However, when compared with the competition, our superphones have a much narrower border.
In addition, we are the first company bring Borderless ID Suspension Glass to the market. LeEco superphones have screens that cover over 76% of the front face.
“There are traces of glue under the screen.”
For better aesthetic effect, our superphones are built with a no-frame design. That means we have to fix the screen to the body with an adhesive panel. We ensure our devices pass a strict excellence test, and try to avoid obvious traces of adhesive tape before we release our devices for sale.
“The Le 1s does not support expandable storage. Why?”
We took the decision to do away with expandable SD card slots to ensure our devices remain light and thin, and also to avoid future compatibility issues. The write and read speeds on various SD levels can affect the performance of mobile phones. Having in-built storage avoids this issue. And with 32GB internal storage, you have enough space for your memories and data.
“What the is difference between USB2.0 and Type C?”
There are 2 speed rates of Universal Serial Bus (USB) – one is USB2.0 (480Mbps), the other is USB3.1 Gen2 (10gbps).
However, this is not to be confused with Type C, which is an interface specification. Currently, our superphones are equipped with Type C and transfer data at USB2.0 speeds.
“My screen brightness is usually low.”
As the display is rather energy-demanding, its brightness affects how much battery is in use. Therefore, compared to other smartphones, our default brightness is relatively lower. We made this decision after serious consideration to maximize battery life. Of course, if users wish to have the display brighter, they have the choice to manually increase it in the Control Center. We also implemented a pixelated dynamic display, so that users can view content clearly even in the sun.
“How effective in the Helio X10 chip?”
The Le 1s uses the latest Helio X10 Turbo chip developed by MediaTek. It has an octa-core cortex A53 architecture, and supports high-speed graphics processing. The clock speed reaches 2.2GHz, and 4k video recording is made possible. At the same time, our benchmark score on processor performance has surpassed the top 5 popular models on the market.
