Just four months after the release of the first generation of the Cubot V1 smart bracelet it seems that the lineup will be getting a new model soon, simply designated as V2. It should bring more functions and more sophisticated design.
So what can we expect with the Cubot V2? Everything will be controlled by a power-efficient Bluetooth nRF51822 chip with three-axis accelerometer and bringing0.88-inch OLED display with 128 x 32 pixel resolution. The 80 mAh battery capacity should last for 5 to 7 days and up to 20 days in standby. The synchronisation will be handled by Bluetooth 4.0 and charging with 5-pin USB.
The strap is once again going to be produced in cooperation with the german Bayer company and just like the V1 it should feature the big metal clasp. Cubot V2 will be compatible with Android 4,3 systems and higher and as for Apple products with iOS 8.0 and higher.
Concerning the functions the touch display should have two active touch points, remote camera controls, dynamic heartrate sensor with the ability to set the critical level, sport activity management, sleep monitoring, vibration notifications, social network sharing, sport activity monitoring in real time and storing the results for up to 30 days.
